Hearing and Interpretation Services

We understand that all patients have a right to be communicated with in their preferred language. In order to meet our patients’ language needs, we offer free 24/7 access to more than 200 languages provided by interpreters over the telephone. We also are proud to offer limited access to 26 languages via remote live video interpreters.

In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), in addition to 24/7 availability of technology for verbal foreign language interpretation, HealthAlliance is proud to offer around-the-clock American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation via remote video technology. In addition, with advanced notice, we can arrange to have in-person ASL provided at no charge to our patients.

Members of your care team can access our video interpretation equipment at any time and it will be delivered to your location. Please remember that telephone interpreter services always are available in all patient care areas.
