WMCHealth to Celebrate All Healthcare Heroes During Virtual Benefit

Hosted by WNBC-TV’s Bruce Beck, WMCHealth Stronger Together Benefit to Recognize the Network’s Workforce, Community Members and Patients

VALHALLA, N.Y. (November 10, 2020) – The Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth) will recognize the heroism of its workforce, thank the community for its unwavering support and celebrate the fortitude of its patients throughout the COVID-19 pandemic during the WMCHealth Stronger Together Benefit scheduled for November 12. The event will stream at WMCHealthStrongerTogether.org at 7 p.m. and there is no cost to watch. Proceeds from the virtual benefit will support the life-changing and lifesaving care offered at WMCHealth Network hospitals, skilled nursing facilities and medical practices around the Hudson Valley.

Hosted by Bruce Beck, a nine-time New York Sports Emmy Award Winner and Lead Sports Anchor for WNBC-TV, the WMCHealth Stronger Together Benefit will be a 60-minute virtual journey of resilience and gratitude. Featuring special messages from local and national celebrities, event viewers will watch inspiring stories shared by frontline care teams and patients.

In addition, viewers will be entertained by musical performances by Tony Award®-winning-singer Stephanie J. Block, GRAMMY® and Tony Award-nominated-singer Norm Lewis and N.E.D., a unique and talented musical band consisting of five gynecologic oncology surgeons, including WMCHealth's own Dr. Gizelka David-West.

WMCHealthStrongerTogether.org is open now for registration, donations and silent auction bids. The WMCHealth Stronger Together Benefit presentation will be available for viewing first on November 12 at 7 p.m. and will remain available for all. Bidding on silent auction items will close November 20.
