Neurovascular disease is the number one cause of permanent adult disability in the United States. New treatments have shown success in improving outcome for acute ischemic stroke and for cerebral aneurysms. It is vital that health care professionals including neurologists, neurosurgeons, emergency room physicians, radiologists, internists, family practitioners as well as allied healthcare professionals stay up to date on the treatments and studies that provide the best care for their patients. This conference will provide clinicians with updated information on the treatment of acute stroke, aneurysms and vascular malformations. It will present the latest advances in NeuroEndovascular technologies. The program is designed to encourage participation and discussion, this one-day conference provides an interdisciplinary approach using didactic lectures, case presentations, audience polling and participation to present new neurovascular data and discuss challenging clinical cases. Regional and national faculty will present and discuss both traditional and cutting edge treatments as well as management strategies.
